A Short History of the ACC Bank
- 1927 – The Agricultural Credit Corporation was founded in September of 1927
- 1988 – The Agricultural Credit Act enabled ACC Bank to have 25% of its assets outside the agricultural industry thus laying the foundations of today’s ACC Bank.
- 2000 – The ACC Bank focussed its attention on small to medium entreprise and the agricultural sectors and became more client-centric. 2002 – ACC Bank became a wholly owned subsidiary of Rabobank – recognised as having a AAA rating and for being one of the world’s safest banks.
- 2009 – The ACC Bank undertook a significant restructure, closing large parts of its network and re-focusing on risk management.
