Bank of Ireland

The Bank of Ireland is recognised as one of the ‘Big Four’ banks in Ireland. It was founded in 1783. The bank opened its first branch in Cork in 1825. Today, the Bank of Ireland offers a wide range of financial services including loans, mortgages, debt financing, personal banking, commercial banking, leasing, overdrafts and more.

The Bank of Ireland has Sterling note-issuing rights in the UK and provides financial services for the British Post Office in the UK. The Bank of Ireland provide services in France, Germany, Australia and the United States under the name ‘Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking’.
